Hidden Lines - A life with Scoliosis
Hidden Lines follows the daily clinical life in Germany's most renowned scoliosis rehabilitation clinic "Bad Sobernheim" and portrays the stories of five different people united by one thing - the pursuit of a normal life. For them, it is always a balancing act between chronic pain, self-acceptance, and societal pressure. While the outside world often only perceives the visible symptoms, the emotional and physical struggle usually remains hidden.
Both inside and outside the clinic, we trace the journey of living with the condition across multiple generations, offering a glimpse into their world - from the first year of school, through teenage years, to family formation, and finally to the resilience of senior age - all connected through the most important place for those affected: the space of healing.
